Trinity Beach, Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef

Regarded as the most popular Cairns beach, Trinity Beach is one of a number of beachfront suburbs to the north of Cairns.  Trinity Beach lies 20 minutes north of Cairns Airport and 25-30 minutes north of the Cairns CBD area.

Whilst the beachfront at Trinity is popular and it is a holiday resort area, it is not crowded.  From the beach and its headlands you will find wonderful views of islands, mountains and the Coral Sea. Trinity Beach has a number of free electric bbqs interspersed between the tropical gardens and lawns.  Can you imagine a more beautiful outlook for the good old Aussie bbq?

A family friendly suburb, there is a shaded childrens playground, a stinger net during stinger season and lifeguards to keep an eye on swimmer.  As Cairns is fringed by the Great Barrier Reef, we do not have surf with large swells but calm waters.

Trinity Beach has a number of restaurants, cafes, beachfront pub, car hire, watersport equipment hire, a supermarket, newsagency, post office, dentist, doctors, hair & beauty, bakery, takeaway shops and bottleshop.
